Obituary for Clare Obrien

Passed away on July 30, 2017 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, Clare Obrien at the age of 57.

She leaves behind her beloved love of her life, Ted Feltham, Daughter Melissa, (Doug), Son TJ, (Toni-Lynn), her precious grandson who she cherished , Cash, and her furry companion, Boss.

Sister Mary (Bruce Chaffey), Brothers James (Anne), Tom (Christine), and sister Patty (Ken White).

Also a large number of extended family and friends.

Clare moved to Glovertown in 1984, the year her and Ted were married, and began their lives together. She truly enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was on her back patio, tending to her flowers, up to their cabin or on the side by side with Ted by her side.

Clare was the wife of Ted, who was a firefighter for 30 years. Each call that Ted attended to, Clare would wait up for him to return home, and never asking what it was or where to. She only wanted to make sure no one was hurt.

Ted always said to her , "your heart is bigger then the big smile you always wear on your face.

Clare was always happy & had a smile for everyone. She had a way of talking to young people & old, and could always make them feel good about themselves.

Visitation is at Oram's Funeral Home, Glovertown, Tuesday, Aug 1, from 7-9pm, and also Wednesday, Aug 2, 9-11AM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday , August 2, 2017 at 2 pm from St. Joseph's parish in Gander, the same church Clare was baptized and married in.
