Loving mother of Sharon (Tom) and Gail. Grandmother to Jordan, Gregory, Matthew, Hayley and Tyler. Loving sister of Alf (Patsy) Travers, Vincent (Cathy) Travers, and Brad (Joan) Clarke. Sister in law to David Anderson and Joan Janes and Maxwell Saunders.
Predeceased by her parents Russell and Ena Travers, husband Phillip, brother Herbert (Norma) and sister Donna.
Passed peacefully away with her daughter Gail by her side on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at James Paton Memorial Hospital. Betty will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be at Oram's Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, from 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Service to take place from Pentecostal Church in Glovertown on Friday at 2:00pm.
